“Ga” 蛾 is the Japanese word for moth. Alessio Vitelli and I had a short chat about updating the Nighthings design. So please take this as a sort of version 2.0 but with a new spin. Hence the new name. Drawing inspiration from vintage Turkey Red bandannas the outside border features an intricate crochet design, moths are partnered with a confetti pattern. In the center of the design is the guiding light, blasting out from the phases of the moon and two lanterns. We really like the idea of keeping the content here realistic so we have kept the color palette dark on this. Using a sort of brown/green/black color here. Very much like mulch. This is very drastically different from our usual designs, and for good reason. We are hoping to really diversify our artwork styles.
