Description
U.S. ARMY DENIM WORKING JACKET
This blue denim work coat was worn by the U.S. Army. It was previously a pullover style, but in 1940 it was changed to a front-opening style to make it easier to put on and take off. Unlike pullovers, this coat style was not designed to be tucked in, so the chest pockets were moved to waist pockets with flaps.
