MADRAS CHECK BUTTON DOWN SHIRT
A button-down shirt made from checkered fabric woven in Madras (now Chennai) in southeastern India, which was essential to the ivy style of the 1950s and 1960s. It has a unique texture and color that is difficult to express with domestically produced fabrics, and the sides and armholes are sewn with twin needles. The TRUE MADRAS label is sewn on the collar, and the front features three custom-made shell buttons.
