A great waterman, Olympic gold medalist, and forefather of the modern surfing culture – all of these well describe the Hawaiian legend Duke Kahanamoku. In the 1930’s, he founded a prominent brand bearing his own name Duke Kahanamoku, and as its spokesperson himself, he actively spread the Hawaiian culture to the rest of the world.
