A magazine bag instead of a newspaper bag!?
The studio where the editorial department conducts photo shoots is brimming with ideas. A vintage newspaper bag caught my eye, and I noticed it had an unusual side pocket. Generally, newspaper bags are known for their generous storage capacity and bold graphics, but there are also some drawbacks, such as straps that are too long, openings that stay open and make it easy for items to fall out, and a lack of small pockets that make them difficult to use despite their spaciousness.
“Hmm… What if we added a side pocket to address these issues? It could dramatically improve usability!” The project moved forward. Custom-made adjustable buckles were added to the straps, two inner pockets were included, and a removable flap—a detail not found in vintage designs—was devised.
