Description
Pendleton Preservation Series 1800-1850
The second in our Preservation Series, this wool blanket is expertly dyed, woven and hand-finished in our American mills. This vivid pattern was inspired by a Navajo child’s blanket from the late 1800s. The crosses represent Spider Woman, a powerful teacher and benefactor in Navajo legends. Based on an original weaving in The Durango Collection®, Center of Southwest Studies Collection.
