Description
SAILOR MOKU PRODUCTS 10oz. COTTON DUCK WORK JACKET
The material used for the jacket is a thick cotton fabric called pineapple tweed. The name comes from the material of the bags used on Hawaiian plantations when harvesting pineapples. Interestingly, because railroad technology was brought over from the mainland United States, Hawaiian railroaders wore workwear similar to that of mainland American railroaders, unlike the workwear worn by plantation workers.
